What is Diem?

Diem is a social search engine, powered by community conversations & Diem AI—inspired by the way women search. Diem is like if chatGPT and your best girl group chat had a baby! We are creating a personalized, community layer to discovery on the internet: making searching for answers online as cozy and judgment free as asking your IRL friends. Fun fact: we built the first AI model to draw from “girl talk” when it generates answers.

What is a Diem Campus Ambassador?

As a Diem Campus Ambassador you’ll get first-hand experience helping grow a female-founded tech company, and be an integral part of building a better internet for women and gender expansive folks everywhere. Using your insight as a student on campus, you’ll spread the word about Diem through a range of community building activations, get experience on your resume, and be rewarded for your efforts! You can apply from any college in the US or Canada.

Diem Campus Ambassador Commitment + Goals

• You can think of your role as a Campus Ambassador as spreading the word about Diem in fun, creative ways (which we will help with!). Your main goal is to:
  • Generate as many people as you can to download Diem + create an account. We track how many people you refer to Diem (monthly) through your unique refer a friend link. For a referral to count, the person you refer to Diem to must create an account. Note: account creations can be anyone, not just college students.
• To maintain your status as a Diem Campus Ambassador (and unlock rewards), you must:
  • Refer a minimum of 20 people to Diem per month. This means that each month, you’ll be responsible for generating 20 new Diem accounts. The way you do this is up to you, but we’ll support you in helping to reach your monthly quota.
• Time commitment:
  • 2 hours a week, but could be more (or much less!) depending on what you find the most effective way to reach your referrals. For example, you might spend 2 hours over the week posting Diem flyers around campus and posting on stories. If you host a gathering one week (drinks and snacks provided by us!), you may spend more time than 2 hours. You could choose to make TikToks about Diem and that could take you 15 seconds. We don’t track your hours, we just track how many people you refer to Diem. (If you can hit your quota for the month in 15 minutes, go you!)

So… how do you refer people to Diem?

If you’re selected as a Diem Campus Ambassador, we’ll give you an official guide with how to spread the word about Diem. We’ve listed a few suggestions below to give you an idea of what you’ll be doing, but part of this role is coming up with your own ways to reach your peers (after all, you know campus better than we do!) We suggest doing a mixed approach for best results.
